Day 1 : Phuentsholing

Arrive at Phuentsholing. Check-In at Hotel & Overnight Stay in phuentsholing.

Day 2 : Paro-Thimphu

Process Tourist Permit at Phuentsholing,( Phuentsholing, is a border town in southern Bhutan, Phuentsholing lies opposite the Indian town of Jaigaon, [West Bengal ] Phuentsholing has a population of 20,537) and transfer to Thimphu, (which is Approx 6 Hours/ 172 Km From Phuentsholing town). Thimphu is the capital and largest city of Bhutan. It has a population of 104,200, On Road Water Falls & Natural Sightseeing, Chukha Dam (Top View) En-route. Check-In at Hotel & Overnight Stay.

Day 3 : Thimphu

Start the day at the huge Buddha statue with a great view over the city. Visit the Folk Heritage Museum to get an idea of life in an ancient Bhutanese farmhouse. At the Institute for the 13 Traditional Arts (Zorig Chusum) students learn one of 13 skills such as statue-making,Buddhist painting or silk embroidery. If you are interested in traditional herbal-based medicine you can choose to visit the Institute of Traditional Medicine. Alternatively, at the Textile Museum you will learn about the intricate silk weaving which is very much a part of Bhutanese culture. Finally, take a stroll to the Memorial Chorten, where you will meet people of all walks of life circumambulating the stupa with their hand-held prayer wheels. Overnight stay at hotel in Thimphu

Day 4 : Thimphu-Punakha

Drive to Punakha (2½hrs). A one-hour drive from Thimphu brings you to the Dochula Pass at an altitude of 3,000m. Stop to circumabulate the 108 chorten and enjoy the view of the Himalayan peaks in the distance. Then descend to 1,200m and visit Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of 15th Century Lam Drukpa Kuenley, also known as the “Divine Madman”. Continue towards Punakha Dzong, which was the former fortress capital of Bhutan. The monks live here during the winter months, moving from their cooler summer residence in Thimphu Dzong. Day 5 : Punakha-Phobjikha

After breakfast, Transfer to Phobjikha Valley, vast U-shaped glacial Valley and for black-necked cranes visit Gangtey Gompa/ Phobjikha(3,000m/9,845ft). This valley is the winter home of Black Necked Cranes that migrates from Tibet.This is the one of the most beautiful and scenic ones in Bhutan, on the slope overlooking the valley is the Gangtey Monastery built in 17th century and is one of the oldest and biggest monasteries of the Nyingma school of Buddhism. Day 6 : Phobjikha- Paro

Spend the morning in Phobjikha. Drive to Paro and visit the impressive Rinpung Dzong and National Museum (Ta-Dzong). Overnight stay at hotel in Paro

Day 7 : Paro- Chelela Pass

After breakfast, Excursion to Paro extra point; Chelela Pass and Haa valley (The only border of Bhutan and China), at an elevation 3,988m is considered to be one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. The pass provides stunning views of the sacred mountain Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake. It is also marked by hundreds of prayer flags fluttering in the wind. In evening strill through the market of Paro and overnight stay at hotel in Paro

Day 8 : Paro-Hike to Taksang(Tiger Nest)

Morning hike or horse ride to Taktsang temple, also known as the Tiger’s Nest, which is built into the sheer rock face at an altitude of 3,000 meters. This is a highlight of the tour and involves a 2-hour uphill hike. The visit to the temple and the return downhill to the base makes this a 4-hour round trip. This hike requires a certain level of fitness but is not excessively difficult. In the afternoon drive towards the ruined fortress Drugyel Dzong from where you can get a view of the distant Jhomolhari Mountain and enjoy the rural scenery of the valley with its small villages and farms scattered here and there.  On the return to town, visit Kyichu Lakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Day 9 : Departure

After early breakfast drive back to Phuentsholing and to onward destination

Cancellation Policy
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 30 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 20 days to 18 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 days to 16 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
